About

Little Nicky casts you as the devil’s youngest son tasked with stopping his rebellious siblings from overhauling Hell’s operations. On the Game Boy Color, you navigate 24 levels of chaotic terrain, gathering objects and battling demons while managing a tricky power system. Proximity to fire boosts Nicky’s speed, leap, and fireball attacks but risks overheating him. Players must balance heat levels to avoid losing control, adding a layer of strategy to the platforming. The game’s blend of exploration and timing challenges keeps each stage feeling distinct despite its 2001 release date. The standout mechanic is the temperature-based ability scaling, which requires careful planning rather than brute force. With no modern updates or remasters, its 24-level structure feels brisk by today’s standards but offers a solid retro challenge. Released in 2001, it remains a niche title for those nostalgic for Digital Eclipse’s early adventure games. The Game Boy Color’s hardware limitations don’t overshadow the core gameplay but do affect visual polish.

Storyline

After two of the devil's three sons escape Hell to wreak havoc on Earth, the devil must send his third son, the mild-mannered Nicky, to bring them back before it's too late.
