About

Lords of Delusia blends top-down space combat with RPG progression in a large sci-fi setting. You play a time-traveling operative navigating five rival empires, Delsec, Vipersec, Griffon, Chimera, and Reina, each with distinct ideologies and control over 73 solar systems. Missions range from trading and salvage runs to dogfights against fleets. Upgrades and skill points let you tailor your ship’s arsenal and abilities. Combat leans into chaotic bullet-dodge action, balancing reflexes with strategic weapon swaps. The game’s open-ended structure lets you ally with or sabotage factions, shaping events as the story unfolds across 500 unique locations. The standout is its branching narrative, with five possible endings determined by faction loyalty and choices made during key missions. While the looting and skill trees feel familiar, the scale of the galaxy and depth of political conflicts set it apart from similar titles. Players who enjoy managing resources and adapting to shifting alliances in a shooter-RPG hybrid may find it compelling. Combat intensity and a steep learning curve could test patience, but the freedom to influence the galaxy’s fate keeps things engaging.

The story ends with the Reina forces missions. Where by the end, the player must decide which ending to go for. With 5 possible endings for the 5 factions, it is up to the player to decide how the end plays out. Does Delsec gain the advantage it wanted by sending the player back in time and holding off the Reina forces? Or does Vipersec sweep in and take over through all the chaos, or does neutrality win with Griffon, or Piracy takes over with Chimera, or finally does reina take over full control of the galaxy? The player decides.
