Lost Diskettes Vol. 1 is a compilation of bite sized horror experiments that lean into the weird and unsettling. Each short entry trades traditional jump scares for strange narratives and disjointed visuals, aiming to confuse as much as it unsettles. The developer clearly prioritizes abstract ideas over polish, which means the gameplay often feels more like a chaotic art project than a cohesive experience. You'll navigate glitchy environments and interact with oddball scenarios that rarely hold together beyond their initial shock value. The game splits opinions hard. A 3/10 review calls it a "waste of time" with audio that "sounded like someone was S" and a plot that feels like "random nonsense." Those seeking structured stories or smooth mechanics will likely walk away frustrated. But fans of avant garde design might find the audacity refreshing. Just know going in, this isn't a horror game so much as a series of provocations wrapped in static.

Absolute waste of time and money. I get experimental but this was just random nonsense strung together with poor audio that SOUNDED LIKE SOMEONE WAS SCREAMING INTO THE VOID. Half the 'experiences' crashed on me and the other half were so abstract I couldn’t tell if it was a game ...
