About

Low Magic Age is a tactical RPG where battles hinge on position, timing, and party synergy. Each turn-based fight uses rules borrowed from tabletop traditions, with mechanics like cover, flanking, and charge bonuses shaping outcomes. The interface keeps things accessible, showing hit percentages and damage ranges clearly. Players build parties from classes with distinct abilities, balancing martial tactics and spellcasting to tackle waves of foes. Progression revolves around collecting gear, weapons, armor, and quirky magical items that tweak stats or add special effects. The game stands out for its depth without overwhelming newcomers. Over 100 monsters populate its world, each demanding tailored strategies. A goblin swarm might fall to hit-and-run strikes, while a basilisk requires careful ranged attrition. The gear system offers over 200 unique items, letting players craft niche builds. Its story follows a hero piecing together a fractured world through guild missions and monster hunts, with a straightforward quest chain that prioritizes action over dialogue. With a 2017 release and a steady indie following, it’s a lean but polished entry for fans of methodical fantasy combat.
