Lucky Hunter uses Roguelike progression and deck-building strategy. You build and upgrade a deck of magical chess pieces, arranging them on a battle grid for automated combat. Each battle requires planning synergies between units and relics to tackle stronger enemies. After fights, you explore diverse settings like forests and deserts to collect resources and enhance your deck. What sets it apart is the emphasis on modular deck design and adaptive tactics. Each playthrough changes with new board layouts and enemy types. Early runs focus on basic survival, while later stages demand precise use of elemental effects and relic interactions. Though release is in November 2024, available demos show a complex system where late-game power comes from creative deck combinations rather than just upgrades.

Storyline

After the catastrophe, the world became devastated, monsters roamed freely, crops could no longer grow. People had to rely on hunters to obtain the necessary water and food. It is said that all the disasters originated from a demon king. The legendary lucky hunter set out to hunt the demon king but never returned... Under the old village chief's guidance, a young hunter, carrying chess pieces with magical power, set off on a hunting journey along the path once taken by the legendary hunter, bearing the hopes of the entire village.
