Lucky & Wild is a fast paced top down shooter that blends high speed chases with on foot gunfights. Players team up as two cops taking down a drug gang led by a villain named Big Cigar. One player controls Lucky who handles driving and shooting while the other takes on Wild who stays on foot with a gun. The action switches between car based pursuit and foot based combat as the duo tackles missions in a blocky 80s style city. The game's co op focus sets it apart with tight local multiplayer that demands coordination. Each character has distinct duties making teamwork essential for survival. Released in 1992 it captures the chaotic energy of 90s arcade cabinets with neon soaked visuals and over the top action. While not as well known as Namco's other titles fans of classic co op shooters often praise its straightforward fun and frantic pacing.

Storyline

Two buddy cops on a mission to bring down a mafia gang. Player 1 (Lucky) both drives the car and fires a gun, Player 2 (Wild) uses just a gun.
