Mamegoma: Honobono Nikki is a life simulation game for the Nintendo DS where you act as a foster parent to a creature called Mamegoma. Over the course of a year you feed clean and teach language to your Mamegoma. The creature reacts to your care with expressions and responses adapting to how you interact. Twenty-two different Mamegoma types are available each with unique traits. Your actions influence how they grow and behave. The game emphasizes hands-on interaction letting you take in-game photos to share with friends. Communication happens through simple touch controls and voice commands making the experience feel responsive. While the concept is straightforward the variety of Mamegoma personalities adds replayability. The DS touchscreen is used effectively for tasks like grooming and teaching offering a tactile element that stands out in the simulation genre.

Storyline

Become a foster parent for Mamegoma and take care of it with love for a year! If you go out to various places while taking care of food, cleaning, etc., it will grow more and more into a full-fledged Mamegoma.
