Maniac Mole casts you as a grumpy underground dweller who wakes to find his burrow hijacked by a monstrous lab. Your mission is to dig through increasingly chaotic levels, blasting creatures and dodging hazards to reclaim your subterranean territory. The gameplay blends basic platforming with straightforward combat, as you leap over pitfalls, whack enemies, and navigate maze-like tunnels. Each stage pushes you deeper below ground, with environments shifting from cluttered workspaces to industrial abysses. The game leans into its absurd premise with no-frills execution. Storyline

Once upon a time, a mole fell asleep in his house, but when he awoke, the world around him had changed. His cozy hole was turned into a laboratory inhabited by some violent creatures. The laboratory is huge, spread around numerous levels, and goes deep underground. Our mole has to go deeper and deeper underground to clear his house of these creatures and destroy the laboratory.
