Marisa and Alice's Trap Tower is a puzzle-platformer where you switch between the two characters to solve tricky traps. The sequel from Desunoya pits Marisa and Alice against a tower rigged with deadly puzzles. Each level requires using their distinct abilities, like Marisa’s speed and Alice’s magic. Play solo by swapping controls or team up for co-op. The challenge is in timing and coordination as you climb floors filled with spikes, moving platforms, and hidden hazards. The game stands out for its clever use of dual perspectives. Every puzzle needs both characters to progress, making teamwork essential even in single-player. The tower’s layout keeps things fresh with new obstacles each floor. While short, it offers a satisfying challenge that fans of indie puzzles might enjoy. Released in 2012, it still holds up as a creative co-op test of logic and reflexes.
Marisa once again invites Alice to go with her to the "public" library in the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Once they arrive, they find out that the librarian, Patchouli Knowledge, has teamed up with Nitori Kawashiro to build a Trap Tower inside. Marisa and Alice have to scale it using their teamwork in order to collect the books.
