Martian Threat is an arcade game where you pilot a probe to defend Earth from an alien invasion. Set in zero gravity, your ship glides endlessly until you counteract its motion, demanding precise navigation to dodge hazards. You’ll shoot Martians and energy bombs that spawn in fixed locations, starting as weak green threats and evolving into fast, explosive red variants. Each hit shoves your probe away, while diagonal-only fire forces calculated angles to take out enemies before Earth’s defenses finish. The game ramps up intensity as bombs grow deadlier, testing reflexes and spatial awareness. A strict 64-second (or 77-second in PAL regions) timer pressures every move, survive to activate Earth’s laser, or watch it obliterated by a virus bomb if you perish. The rigid physics and escalating difficulty turn simple controls into a tense, high-risk challenge. With no second chances, Martian Threat delivers a lean, unforgiving experience that puts focus and precision to the test.
