Master of Alchemy drops you into a lab where you twist solids, liquids and gases into solutions using a physics based system. Each puzzle challenges you to route materials through bubbling flasks spinning turbines and other odd machinery. As you progress new tools unlock letting you mix split and transform elements in creative ways. The game’s 2012 release brought this brain teaser to PC and Mac after its mobile debut. The real hook is the rivalry between alchemists and mechanologists which weaves through the puzzles. Choose from six characters and watch their stories unfold as you master increasingly complex challenges. The physics engine and clever level design earned praise on iOS and the PC version keeps the same addictive logic without extra fluff.
