Mean Girls on the Nintendo DS is a puzzle game built around the movie of the same name. You play through levels that recreate scenes from the film while solving various brain teasers. The project was set to drop in Europe in September 2009 and later hit US shelves in April 2010 under the 505 Games label. Development by Crush Digital Media stopped just before launch, leaving the final product nowhere to be found. This title holds a strange spot in gaming history as one of the most famous cases of lost media. The community tracks it closely because so many people wanted to see how the puzzles worked or if they matched the movie scenes. Rumors and partial builds have circulated for years, but no official copy ever saw the light of day. It remains a ghost in the system rather than a title you can actually buy or play today.
