n Mech Wars is a fast paced arcade shooter where you pilot customizable mechs in battles against an invading alien force. Set on the war torn planet Xelarvis the single player campaign tasks you with defending the last Stenian outposts from relentless Kaxeder assaults. The controls are tight the shooting is chaotic and every mission feels like a high stakes dogfight on steroids. With a focus on quick reflexes and upgrade management it's all about surviving wave after wave of enemies while blowing them to smithereens. Pix Arts delivers a no frills action experience that leans into its over the top destruction and retro inspired aesthetics. While the story is straightforward the game's charm comes from its relentless pace and the satisfaction of upgrading your mech into a walking artillery unit. Coming to PlayStation Xbox and Switch in late 2024 it's a pick up and play title that's easy to jump into but tough to put down. Early builds showed strong performance on both consoles and handheld hinting at smooth action across the board.
