Mega Force drops you into the cockpit of the Final Star, a ship battling waves of enemies and base defenses. Play solo or team up for co-op runs through stages labeled with Greek letters. The action stays tight with just two weapon upgrades and no fancy bombs or missiles. Pure shooting, no frills. The game’s simplicity is its hook. After clearing the Omega stage, some versions unlock an endless Infinity level that keeps the action going. Released in late ’84, it’s a straightforward arcade shooter that still packs a punch for fans of old-school intensity. Short on extras but long on challenge.
