Mega Force drops you into a crumbling city under siege as the last line of defense. Piloting a flying motorcycle, you alternate between ground and air combat to take down waves of enemies. On the ground, your missiles arc downward, while in the sky they blaze straight ahead. Balance dodging rockets, eliminating enemy fighters, and blowing up fuel depots before Sardoun gets bombed. A flashing "Defend" warning signals incoming threats, adding urgency to every move. This 1982 Atari 2600 title thrives on tight resource management. Every second burns through fuel, forcing you to pick your battles and shoot enemy tanks to replenish. Destroying those tanks nets 80 points each, but beware: wiping out a depot’s supply triggers a risky prize that might be better left untouched. With its frantic rhythm and dual-fire mechanics, Mega Force remains a brisk, punishing challenge. Classic arcade scores list high marks for its relentless tension and punishing difficulty.
