Two heroes two sets of hands Mega Twins throws you and a friend into a side scrolling brawl against a clown army. You split control of the twin siblings zipping across levels filled with bouncy platforms and cartoonish enemies. Each level scrolls horizontally but demands vertical thinking with floating obstacles and secret paths. The arcade version launched in 1990 with co op support that lets players tackle the clown’s horde as a team. The game’s charm comes from its goofy tone and tight co op design. While the plot is pure 90s absurdity (a clown invasion of a land called Alurea) the gameplay stays focused on simple but responsive controls. The Amiga and Genesis ports kept the core loop intact with punchier visuals. With over 40 levels and hidden collectibles it holds up as a surprisingly sturdy pick for local multiplayer sessions.
Alurea was a very peaceful place until a creepy clown decided to take over. He got together all his beastie buddies and attacked Alurea! Now, the lands are filled with monsters of all kinds! It's time to win back Alurea! Get'em, boys!
