Meikyuu Xross Blood is a first-person RPG where you control a squad of six characters through procedurally generated dungeons. Each member can be assigned one of two classes, creating layered strategy as you balance offense, defense, and support roles. The game emphasizes turn-based combat with a focus on positioning and elemental weaknesses. Originally released in 2010, the Xbox 360 version added new story content and voice acting in 2011. A PC patch later brought those updates to Windows users. The game’s strength lies in its team customization and dungeon design. Players experiment with class synergies to tackle shifting environments and boss encounters. Despite limited availability outside Japan, it has a cult following among fans of tactical RPGs. The PlayStation Vita remakes in 2012 and 2014 streamlined controls but didn’t expand the core formula.
