Meltylancer: The Melting Pot Police is a 1995 role-playing simulator that mixes police training with life management. You run the show for six rookie officers balancing their work and personal time. Assign shifts meetings or downtime each week then chat with each recruit to pick daily tasks. Training boosts skills rest keeps them sharp and bad scheduling can tank their performance during missions. When action hits battles unfold automatically though you can tweak a few commands mid-fight. Each officer has distinct traits and abilities that shape how they handle chaos. The game stands out for its detailed character management and sci-fi setting. Set in 2086 after Earth joins the Galactic Union it’s a quirky mix of futuristic crime and down-to-earth training. The six recruits each bring unique personalities and specialties making long-term planning key. The package even includes a mini-CD with the theme song. A cult classic for those who like deep simulation with a side of interstellar bureaucracy.
It is the year 2086. Earth has finally joined the Galactic Union; people, knowledge, and technology can now freely travel to and from Earth. New technology is solving many of humanity's problems, such as disease and food shortage, and galactic tourism is quickly becoming a boon for Earth's economy. However, not all changes are positive: with its borders open, Earth is no longer considered a protected location by the Galactic Union, and not everyone who might come to the planet is there just to see the sights. The Galaxy Police are dedicated to fighting interplanetary crime, and while they may provide the tools, Earth itself must provide the talent, and those recruits are going to need some training to keep the peace.
