Metal Savior is a first-person shooter where you control a security drone defending a high tech weapons facility from self replicating machines. The game follows a single mission structure as you navigate labs and armories while fighting waves of nanotech threats. Weapon systems and environmental hazards let you disrupt enemy formations and buy time before the facility collapses. Despite never making it to release, the game has a small following among fans of abandoned sci-fi projects. Mangled Eye Studios worked on it from 2010 to 2012 before cancellation. The robotic protagonist angle and wave based combat stand out in a genre often focused on human soldiers. Some modding communities have attempted to finish the game using leaked assets though results remain incomplete.
