MetalCore drops you onto the mineral-rich planet Kerberos, where a civil war is tearing the Solar Empire apart. You pilot massive mechs or drive armored vehicles while fighting for faction control in this persistent online world. The loop involves completing missions, winning battles against other players, and harvesting resources to craft better gear. If you prefer not to fight directly, you can act as a Baron, renting out your machines to vassals who earn rewards on your behalf. You also manage land plots to extract raw materials or trade items with the wider community. The scale of conflict feels genuine since everyone shares the same open map. Community data shows active participation in both player versus player skirmishes and cooperative PvE events, proving the game works as a true MMO. Players have built complex economies around selling vehicles and renting out fleets rather than just grinding for loot. The barony system adds a layer of strategy that lets you profit without spending hours in the cockpit. It is a heavy shooter that treats vehicle customization and faction warfare with serious depth instead of treating them as afterthoughts.

Storyline

The game’s story revolves around a civil war that has broken out across the Solar Empire. Due to this chaos, new technology emerges that allows humans to colonize worlds outside their star system. Several spaceships begin their journey towards a new star called TRM-175 "Kerberos" and finally arrive at the metal-rich planet after a thousand-year journey. Now they have to fight to live on this alien planet, with extreme consequences. By playing MetalCore, you may receive in-game rewards through missions, PvP, or PvE matches. If fighting isn’t your style, become a Baron and recruit your vassals through Barony (a renting and borrowing system in MetalCore) and let others fight with your vehicles on your behalf. Barons can also acquire land to mine for resources.
