Miami Vice The Game is a third-person shooter that follows two detectives navigating a neon-drenched Miami filled with drug deals and street races. You alternate between the two leads using cover-based shooting driving segments and occasional stealth. The open areas let you explore a loose version of the city but missions stick to straightforward action with plenty of gunfire and car chases. The game leans heavily into 80s synthwave aesthetics with flashy visuals and a soundtrack packed with retro electronic beats. It received mixed reception with a 33 on Metacritic though some praise its fast pacing and style. The PSP port made it a portable pick but limited processing power shows in clunky textures and occasional slowdown. A brief 8 to 10 hour campaign keeps it from overstaying its welcome.
