Mighty Hits is a fast-paced shooter where players tackle a series of quick mini-games set in a cartoonish Wild West world. Each round lasts 20 to 30 seconds and tasks you with hitting targets to complete objectives like dismantling a doll or freeing a penguin trapped in ice. Fail a challenge and you lose a life feather, run out and it’s game over. The campaign includes three courses with escalating difficulty, from six mini-games on Easy to 18 in the unlockable Very Hard mode. Stages are chosen by flipping through randomized cards in sets of three, with bonus cards occasionally offering more control over your selection. The game stands out for its sheer variety of bite-sized challenges, including rhythm-based shooting and puzzle elements. Mini-games range from Three Shell games to color-matching bell sequences, keeping the pace fresh over repeated plays. While its 1996 release date and niche presentation might not draw mainstream attention, fans of arcade-style precision and replayability find value in its straightforward design.
