Mighty Tyranitar is an arcade-style game played on a handheld e-Reader device. You control a shield that blocks falling volcanic rocks from smashing Tyranitar’s territory. Each successful block earns points while the timer counts down. Mistimed moves let debris destroy the land which ends the session. The goal is to beat your own high score or friends’ attempts. The game requires six specific Aquapolis Pokémon cards to activate. Players need Tyranitar #69 and five supporting cards like Pupitar and Onix. Despite its simple premise the timing mechanics demand quick reflexes. Niche but addictive for those with the right cards and patience. Released in 2003 it remains a cult curiosity among retro collectors.
