Minicraft Shooter is a top-down shooter where you battle hordes of zombies across three distinct environments. A cyberpunk cityscape, a grid of modern buildings, and a forest of blocky trees each offer different challenges as you upgrade weapons and manage resources. The game uses a cubic art style that gives everything a toy-like, low-poly appearance. Gameplay focuses on surviving wave after wave of enemies while navigating open areas to find better gear. The blocky visuals stand out as both a charm and a gameplay feature making it easy to track movement and attacks. While there's no multiplayer the single player loop of surviving increasingly tough waves has a solid rhythm. The mix of environments keeps things visually varied though mechanics stay consistent throughout. At two hours shorter than most indie shooters it works best as a pick up and play session.
