Minions of Mirth is an early 2000s RPG developed by PrairieGames that lets you play solo or with others online. Released in 2005 it offers character customization and two versions: a free base game and a paid upgrade that unlocks extra skills. The PC Mac and iOS release supported both single-player adventures and a now-defunct MMO mode which shut down in 2017 after server issues. Despite its age the game carved out a small audience with its mix of traditional RPG mechanics and light-hearted tone. The free version remains playable for offline fun though multiplayer options are gone. Casual players looking for a no-frills turn-based experience might still find value in its straightforward design and flexible progression system.
