About

Miniplanets is a platformer built for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis that reimagines level design with circular logic. You play Qisha, navigating 3D planetary surfaces by jumping between looping paths that connect opposite edges of each level. Collect keys, avoid hazards, and solve environmental puzzles across 45 stages. The twist is every level wraps around itself, letting you reappear on the far side with a well-timed leap. This 2016 homebrew title carves out a niche with its clever use of geometry. The looping paths force creative route planning, making each jump feel like a mini-puzzle. While the difficulty spikes sharply, the mechanics remain consistent and fair. Retro hardware limitations sharpen the focus on core gameplay, resulting in a compact but challenging experience. It’s a technical showcase for what indie developers could achieve outside mainstream titles.
