About

Minoria is a 2D action RPG with platforming and arcade combat from Bombservice. As one of two missionaries, you navigate hand-painted environments filled with enemies and environmental puzzles. Combat focuses on timing parries, dodging attacks, and casting spells to progress. The game blends top-down exploration with side-scrolling battles, all rendered in HD with a mix of 2D backgrounds and 3D character models. Set during a religious conflict called the Fourth Witch War, the story follows Sisters Semilla and Fran as they hunt heretics and stop a forbidden ritual. The game expands on mechanics from the Momodora series but adds refined visuals and tighter controls. Storyline

The story takes place during the fourth Witch War. It is a time of fanatical religious fervor. On the one hand, by the Sacred Office, a powerful organization leading an Inquisition against heresy, in order to purify the sinners who threaten humanity. And on the other hand, those labeled “witches”, responsible for conducting a mysterious ceremony that contradicts the rules of the Church. Set forth with Sisters Semilla and Fran, missionaries in the Church’s service, on their journey to thwart the witches’ ceremony and protect the common-folk from heresy that endangers the status quo.
