In couples mode, drum layouts force players to stand close, often leading to accidental hugs as one handles inner drums and the other outer ones. Scoring here tracks both accuracy and how well you sync with your partner’s timing. The game uses a Kinect camera to capture your movements, overlaying a live video of you drumming behind the action. After playing you get a performance collage saved to the eAmuse app as a keepsake. Some tracks also require specific gestures detected by the camera adding a light layer of motion controls. While it only lasted a few years in arcades its mix of physical play and shared scoring made it a quirky standout in Konami’s BEMANI series.
