Mira's Brush is a color-driven puzzle platformer where you collect shape-shifting tools to restore vibrancy to a drained world. You navigate 60+ levels across eight distinct art-style realms, mixing quick reflexes with creative problem solving. Each world introduces new mechanics like gravity shifts or color-matching obstacles. The story follows Mira confronting Colonel Blump and his artistic henchmen who stole the rainbow hues from a castle. You’ll bounce between puzzles requiring precise timing and brain-teasers that twist spatial logic. The game stands out for its quirky tone and inventive level design. Players praise the way it blends hand-drawn aesthetics with clever mechanics that make color itself a gameplay tool. While some levels test patience with repetitive platforming, the 8 unique world transitions and absurd character quirks keep things lively. With a 76% on Metacritic, it’s a niche pick for fans of experimental indie games. The PC version runs smoothly on mid-tier hardware and offers a satisfying challenge without overwhelming complexity.
Story Mira is up against a little evil, of course. Colonel Blump and his cohort of artistic villains have stolen the colour from RainbowCastle, and Empress Kitty needs your help. Well, I mean, if she could speak, she'd totally ask for your help. Frankly, she kinda sits there. Mira has been tasked with restoring colour to Chromaland across all 8 art-style based worlds, returning the 8 colour crystals, and squaring off against the villainous Blump. I mean, what does he want a bunch of rainbows for anyway? He's such a sour sea-lion.
