About

Missile Command is a handheld adaptation of the 1980s arcade classic where players intercept incoming missiles to protect cities. Using the Game Boy Color's screen, you tap buttons to launch defensive missiles, tracking trajectories and timing shots to destroy threats before they hit. The single player mode pits you against waves of attacks, while two-player games let friends take turns defending their own bases. Gameplay is straightforward but tense, relying on quick reflexes and spatial awareness. This 1999 port adds color to the original black-and-white visuals, making explosions and explosions pop against the Game Boy Color's palette. The Code Monkeys streamlined controls for the handheld format, though the core loop stays true to the arcade original. It's a brief but addictive test of precision, best suited for short bursts of action. With Hasbro Interactive at the helm, the game maintains the same frantic energy that made the original a staple of arcades and coffee table cabinets alike.
