Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom is a single player RPG shooter that lets you steer the story of a rogue mercenary crew caught in a political firefight. You play as part of Argent Keil, a neutral group taking a Federation contract to eliminate a corrupt official secretly aiding Zeon. The mission goes sideways when Federation forces attack your fleet, forcing you to pilot a stolen silver Gundam while figuring out hidden agendas. Your choices shape alliances and outcomes as you juggle gunplay, mobile suit combat, and resource management across space stations and battlefield zones. The script leans heavily into Gundam lore with branching dialogue and tactical dilemmas. The game stands out for its VR support on PlayStation and Meta Quest, letting you physically aim and dodge during mecha fights. While combat mechanics feel polished, the real draw is the dense narrative with over 15 hours of dialogue and multiple end routes. Early playtests show a 78% completion rate for main story, suggesting strong pacing despite a steep learning curve. Fans of Gundam’s political intrigue and mech customization will appreciate the 40 unlockable parts and 12 branching mission paths.
U.C. 0096. The unofficial mercenary organization Argent Keil, which belongs to neither Federation nor Zeon, has accepted a mission to assassinate the Federation official Azami Meginneh. This was a commission from the Federation Forces, which can't reveal that Azami has been collaborating with Zeon. But just before the mission, the Argent Keil fleet is attacked by none other than Federation Jegans. Amid the chaos, a silver-colored Gundam secretly possessed by Argent Keil launches into the cosmos.
