You control a race car in Monte Carlo, navigating a shifting track from a top-down perspective. The goal is to keep moving without veering off the road or crashing into walls. Each of the eight tracks moves, forcing you to adapt to changing paths. Later tracks add tighter turns and narrower lanes, turning the test into a frantic race against the clock. Precision matters more than speed as you balance momentum and control. The game’s simplicity hides a sharp challenge curve. Early tracks feel manageable but quickly escalate into chaotic sprints. While there’s no opponent to beat, the layout changes and tight margins make each lap a puzzle. Released in 1980, it’s a fast-paced arcade relic that still works as a no-frills test of reflexes.
