You balance alchemy experiments evidence analysis and tense dialogue choices while racing to uncover traitors and restore balance. The simulator elements let you craft potions and tweak formulas between narrative scenes which unfold through stylized visuals and branching conversations. Standouts include its tight pacing and the way alchemy becomes a problem-solving tool rather than a side activity. The trio of protagonists each have distinct voices and secrets that slowly figure out over the four available endings. Though the runtime clocks in under ten hours the 90% Metacritic score shows players appreciate its compact yet layered storytelling. The hand-drawn art style and ambient soundtrack help sell the mystical tone without overcomplicating it.

Storyline

High Alchemist Nika Skylar is an acclaimed alchemist invited as an honored guest at the Moonfaire. A state held festival to celebrate a rare event of the silver moon. An event that occurs only one every century and fuels the magic of their kingdom for the next hundred years. During a night of celebration, activity and tradition, tragedy strikes. A derailed ritual, a murder, a traitor. Alchemist Skylar must investigate the incident and protect the world's very core of civilization.
