Mortal Rite is an action RPG with rogue-lite and dungeon crawler elements. You climb a tower fighting through procedurally generated floors filled with enemies and traps. Each run forces you to adapt as the layout and threats change. Play alone or team up with up to five others in co-op mode to take down bosses and unlock rewards. Combat blends melee and magic with a focus on timing and positioning. The goal is to pass a series of trials controlled by a malevolent spirit blocking guild entry. The game stands out for its flexible co-op system which scales well for both solo and group play. Early builds show strong polish in its mix of challenge and progression. Scheduled for PC in late 2024, it aims to offer a fresh take on classic dungeon crawl mechanics without overwhelming newcomers.
