Mortality Decomp. Killers is a third-person shooter that leans into chaotic fun with a mix of horror and slapstick. You play Clive, a resurrected detective with a grudge, waging war against the criminals who got him killed. Hand-drawn visuals give the game a gritty, retro comic book feel. Each level is a straight shot through narrow corridors designed for maximum carnage. You’ll experiment with weapons and tactics, learning the fastest routes through trial and error. Dying resets the clock, but that’s just part of the process. The game’s punchy art style and snappy pacing stand out. It’s a brief but punchy affair, clocking in under four hours based on early builds. While the formula isn’t impressive, the blend of over-the-top violence and cheeky dialogue keeps it from feeling stale. Cuppakill’s latest is a love letter to no-frills action games with a distinct visual voice.

Storyline

When a parasite reawakens detective Clive from death, he is recruited into a secret taskforce to stop those that killed him from weaponizing this newfound immortality. Slay crooks and goons in semi-linear corridor levels that are built for honing in and optimising your own quickest path through. Prepare to die, and then die again.
