Mosaic Hearts is a side-scrolling RPG that blends platforming and beat 'em up action with a twist. You play as Jonn or Mary, battling through levels filled with enemies that can be defeated and recruited into your party. Each boss fight offers a choice to either knock them out or join forces, shaping your team for later challenges. Exploration and combat alternate as you navigate Morilet’s war-torn zones, balancing platforming precision with melee brawls. The goal is to assemble a crew strong enough to confront the final antagonist, Noel Weisburg. The game’s combat stands out for its straightforward yet tactical approach. Bosses have distinct movesets, and turning them into allies adds variety to both fights and team composition. While the story is light, the focus on incremental progression and team-building keeps the experience engaging. With 15+ boss encounters and a runtime of around 8-10 hours, it’s a compact but punchy indie title that leans into accessibility without sacrificing depth.

Storyline

The town of Morilet has been swept up in a Territory War and it's up to Jonn and Mary to save it! Fight each boss, gain them as an ally, and fight your way through each level. Build a strong group that can take down the final boss, Noel Weisburg.
