Motherflakker started life as a prototype at Slipgate Ironworks while they were building Ion Fury. It looks like a throwback to the late nineties or early two thousands with its fast-paced arena shooter style. You fight waves of enemies in a survival mode that gets harder the longer you last. The team made it playable for both PC and Nintendo Switch before shelving the project during the main game's development. This hidden gem shows what could have been if 3D Realms went down a different path with their classic engine tech.
