MotionSports: Play for Real is a sports game for Xbox 360 that uses Kinect to track body movements. Developed by Ubisoft Milan, it launched in 2010 as one of the first titles to use the motion-sensing tech. The game features single-player and multiplayer modes across several sports. Players mimic real-world actions to compete in athletic events, relying on physical gestures for gameplay. Each sport requires specific movements, testing coordination and timing. As an early Kinect title, the game shows some rough edges. Critics and players noted inconsistent controls and limited content. While some found it fun for casual sessions, others saw it as a flawed experiment. The mixed reception reflects the challenges of adapting motion controls to sports mechanics. Despite this, it's a piece of Kinect history with a dedicated niche.
