Moto Extreme is a motocross racing game that pits players against tricky off-road tracks filled with jumps and tight turns. Each track has distinct obstacles and terrain keeping things varied even as the visuals stick to a 90s-era polygon style. The game gained a small but dedicated following for its straightforward fun and surprisingly deep customization options. Released in 1997 it holds up better than many contemporaries thanks to tight handling and a selection of 12 tracks. Windows and DSi versions let players compare notes across platforms though the DSi port lacks multiplayer modes found in the original PC release.
