Mr. Blob's Honey-Do List is a chaotic co-op game where two players tackle absurd household tasks as a clumsy husband and his mischievous helper. Inspired by retro 2D platformers, the game splits into three short scenarios mixing puzzle solving, timing-based challenges, and slapstick physics. One player controls Mr. Blob, a gelatinous oaf prone to slipping and knocking things over. The other guides a hyperactive pixie flitting between objects to create paths or trigger traps. Success means completing each task without breaking the house entirely. The game’s charm comes from its deadpan humor and the tension of shared incompetence. Every level feels like a sitcom outtake, with pixel-perfect animations amplifying the mayhem. Early access reviews highlight the local multiplayer appeal, though online mode is available. Simple mechanics make it easy to pick up, but the unpredictable interactions between Blob’s brute force and the pixie’s chaos keep sessions fresh. Best played with someone who doesn’t mind yelling “NO I’M NOT TRYING TO HELP!” mid-round.
After seeing his neighbor's failing marriage Mr. Blob decides to make a “Honey-Do List” of things he wants to do for his wife to improve their marriage. He’s always been a little klutzy and not very adventurous. Knowing this he goes to the public fountain, tosses some money in, and wishes for help on his list of items to do for his wife. Unbeknownst to him the universe listened. A duo of pixies hearing his wishes decided they were pure in nature and a fair trade for a few coins.
