Msoids is a fast paced arcade shooter where you steer a tiny cannon around a screen of square rock chunks. Use the keyboard to dodge and the mouse to fire blasts that break asteroids into tinier pieces. Every time your ship gets clipped by a falling rock you lose instantly. The goal is to stay alive as long as possible while the screen gets more chaotic with each wave. Made by Cactus in 2007 this no frills game strips down the classic Asteroids formula to its basics. The controls are tight and the action never slows down. Playing through feels like a test of reflexes and patience. With no story or extra modes it’s just you bullets and a lot of crashing. Available on PC and browser it’s a quick way to challenge your survival instincts without any bells and whistles.
