Murder Mystery Paradox: Fifteen Years of Summer is a visual novel set on an isolated island where disappearances repeat across timelines. You play as Itsuki, a teenager uncovering why loved ones vanish during summer visits to Shikinejima. The story alternates between 2004 and 2024 as clues overlap, forcing you to piece together cause and effect through dialogue choices and document reviews. Each decision impacts how past and present events align. The game’s nested mystery structure stands out, with players on Steam averaging 4.5/5 for its layered storytelling. Character relationships drive the tension, blending personal stakes with time-loop logic puzzles. While the art style leans minimalist, voice acting and pacing keep the 15-hour runtime engaging. The December 2023 release brought it to PC as a standalone mystery with no sequel hooks or franchise tie-ins.
