In Mutation of J.B. you play as Johnny Burger a kid who gets turned into a human pig after a shady science experiment goes sideways. The action starts when Johnny visits his cousin only to find the place abandoned and a researcher offering cash for participation in a study. The lab accident leaves Johnny with a new porcine appearance and two goals track down his missing cousin and reverse his condition. The game mixes point and click exploration with puzzle solving as Johnny navigates a sci fi mystery involving alien abductions and memory tampering. The game stands out for its bizarre premise blending kid friendly adventure with darkly comedic body horror elements. Released in 1996 it carries a retro charm with its pixel art and straightforward storytelling. While its cult following remains small the mix of family drama cosmic intrigue and a talking pig protagonist makes for an oddly memorable experience. The lack of modern polish won’t surprise fans of older PC games but the eccentric plot and quirky dialogue keep it from fading entirely into obscurity.
