About

You take on two roles in this point-and-click mystery set in 1941. As detective Francis Dale, you investigate the mayor’s murder through interrogations and evidence gathering. Switch to Gabriel Heinrich, the suspect’s son, to navigate his personal struggle and clear his father’s name. The story unfolds with minimal text, relying on environmental clues and dialogue choices. Left clicks execute actions or select responses. Right clicks cycle between verbs like examine and interact. The plot ties both perspectives to a single central mystery. The game’s pixel art stands out with expressive animations and layered details. A synth-heavy soundtrack evokes noir tension without overwhelming the atmosphere. At 40-60 minutes, it balances brevity with a complete narrative arc. Players note the lack of punishing trial-and-error mechanics and appreciate the smooth integration of puzzles into the investigation. The dual narrative structure avoids contrived twists, focusing on logical deduction and character-driven stakes.
