Mystery Trails puts you in the boots of a 1910 mountain rescuer who spots an accident that looks wrong from the start. You explore a snowy wilderness as both a guide and a detective to find out what really happened to the victims. The game mixes shooting mechanics with puzzle solving while you scan the terrain for clues and talk to witnesses. Weather conditions change fast and keep the pressure high, so you cannot waste time looking at every rock. What stands out is how the setting forces you to think quickly without a safety net. Players have noted the tense atmosphere makes even simple tasks feel urgent as the clock ticks down. The indie team built a tight experience where finding that one hidden detail can change everything about the story. Storyline

The year 1910, you’re a mountain rescuer and a hiking guide who has just received information about an accident in the area. Your instinct tells you that this time it’s not going to be a regular one and it might be too late for the victims. Soon after that you find a body and realize something strange happened out there, and it’s up to you to find out what it was. In order to get the answers you’re seeking, you’ll also have to use your detective abilities. You’re not a private investigator, but you’ll have to become one. Think outside of the box, look for hidden details and interview potential witnesses. Keep in mind that the weather won’t allow you to take it slow, time pressure is on you!
