Mythscroll lets you build your character from scratch with D&D style stats and skills. You wander a vast world where every conversation and combat decision shifts the path ahead. Battles use turn-based tactics and spells feel earned through study and practice. There’s no single story to follow, your journey grows from the quests you take and the fights you win or lose. The game stands out for its deep customization and how small choices create big consequences. Combat mixes strategy with spell management and the open world feels alive with optional side quests. Coming to PC and Linux in 2025, it’s already getting praise for letting players shape their own legends without hand holding.

Storyline

The player creates and customizes their character like a D&D character and then enter the world, traveling the open world and triggering quests and encounters based on where they go and what they do, there is no specific overarching storyline, the player creates their story by the choices they make in battles, encounters, and what quests they accept vs decline.
