Nanosaur Extreme! is a first-person shooter where you battle packs of ravenous dinosaurs in a lab gone wrong. You grab a rifle and clear out prehistoric predators from crumbling research facilities. The game ramps up the chaos with more enemies and ammo drops than the original version. Fast-paced gunplay and basic level design keep things moving without frills. This version adds heft to the 1996 classic by doubling the dinosaur population and scattering extra bullets around. It marks the first Windows port of the game which previously only ran on Mac. While not impressive by modern standards the upgraded content gives it a bit more replay value. Players familiar with early 2000s shooters might find it nostalgic but still functional.
