Nanotek Warrior is a third-person shooter that puts you in control of a mechanized suit fighting self-aware nanobots in the 23rd century. You navigate twisting tube-like corridors, using jumps, strafing, and sharp turns to outmaneuver enemies. Each of the nine levels splits into two parts: a fast-paced run through shifting 3D environments followed by a stationary boss battle where you circle and attack a central target. Power-ups drop throughout to upgrade weapons and survivability, keeping the action intense. What sticks out is the level design. For a 1997 PlayStation title, the rotating tube sections and dynamic camera angles felt fresh, though the repetitive layout might wear thin. Boss fights add variety with distinct attack patterns. While not a mainstream hit, its blend of speed and sci-fi themes earned it a cult following. The score attack mode and challenge runs keep it replayable for arcade fans.

Storyline

Welcome to the 23rd century. The world has been at peace for the last 100 years. Nano-technology has become a reality and disease and hunger have been virtually wiped out by tiny Nano-robots created to serve every purpose known to man. Increasingly sophisticated, the Nano-robots have recently gained sentience and are systematically attempting to wipe out their creators, humankind.
