About

Naribikimura is a first-person horror game centered on figuring out a hidden village's dark past. You play as someone who stumbles upon a mysterious cliffside tunnel after a typhoon, leading to an abandoned settlement that shouldn't exist. Using environmental clues and scattered records, you piece together why the village was erased from maps while navigating decaying buildings and unsettling atmospheres. The pace is slow and methodical, emphasizing quiet discovery over jump scares. The game stands out for its eerie, windswept environments and gradual storytelling. With no combat or dialogue, the tension comes from isolation and unanswered questions about the village's fate. Early access reviews note its ability to sustain unease through sparse but effective audio design. While the mystery unfolds at a deliberately slow pace, fans of atmospheric puzzles and desolate exploration will appreciate the sense of figuring out something deliberately buried.

Storyline

In 2000, a post on a certain bulletin board mentioned that a tunnel-like structure appeared on a cliff that had collapsed due to a large typhoon. After seeing this post, the protagonist, who lived nearby, decided to head to the location. Beyond the tunnel, they found a village that was not on any map. The protagonist begins to investigate why this village, Naribiki Village, exists.
