Naruto: Rise of a Ninja lets you control a customizable ninja in a story-driven RPG with hand-to-hand combat. The single-player mode follows a plot where you train, battle, and unlock abilities across levels inspired by the anime. Multiplayer options include split-screen fights and online duels using moves from the series. The game mixes platform navigation with timed attacks and special jutsu moves. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, it was the first Naruto title made outside Japan. Released in 2007, it had a split-screen mode that appealed to local co-op players. A sequel called The Broken Bond came out the following fall but didn’t fix the original’s clunky camera and uneven pacing. Still, the character roster and familiar themes drew praise from anime fans.
